Everything you need to build, publish and run your apps with Solaris Builder — in plain words. Can't find an answer? Write to us and a person will reply.

Getting started

How do I make my first app?

Create a free account with your email, type what you need in the big box — for example “a billing app for my medical store that warns me about expiring medicines” — and press Build it. Solaris designs the screens, sets up your data and shows a live preview in a few minutes.

What should I write in the box?

Write it the way you'd explain it to a person: who will use the app, what you want to keep track of, and one or two must-have details. English, Hindi or Hinglish are all fine. You don't need technical words.

Can I start from a ready-made idea?

Yes. Pick one of the starter ideas — shop billing, clinic appointments, coaching fees, udhaar khata, restaurant website and more — and edit the text before you build.

How do I change something in my app?

Just ask in the chat next to the preview: “add a GST column”, “make it blue”, “show low stock on the home screen”. Every change is saved as a version, so you can go back if you don't like it.

How AI credits work

What are AI credits?

Building and changing apps uses AI, and credits pay for it. Every account gets free credits each month (currently 1,000 on the free plan). A new app uses a part of that, and small changes use much less. Your balance is shown at the top of the screen.

When do my free credits refresh?

At the start of every month your free credits are topped back up to the monthly allowance. Unused free credits don't pile up from month to month, but credits you buy are kept until you use them.

What happens if I run out?

Your apps keep working and stay online — you just can't build or change them with Solaris AI until your credits refresh. You can also connect your own AI key in Settings, or buy more credits once payments open.

Can I use my own AI key instead of credits?

Yes. If you have an API key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Groq, OpenRouter or a similar provider, add it in Settings and build without using Solaris credits. That usage is billed to you by the provider.

Publishing & sharing

How do I put my app online?

Press Publish, choose a name and your app goes live at your-name.solarisapp.in. Share the link on WhatsApp, print it as a QR code, or add it to your Google Business profile.

How do I update an app that's already published?

Make your changes in the builder, check the preview, then press Publish again. The link stays the same. If something goes wrong, you can roll back to an earlier published version from the same window.

How many apps can I publish?

The free plan currently allows 3 live apps at a time, with a small “Made with Solaris” badge. The upcoming Pro plan allows more live apps and removes the badge.

How do I take an app offline?

Open the app in the builder, press Publish and choose Unpublish. The link stops working straight away, and you can publish it again later.

Can I use my own domain name?

Not yet. Published apps use a free solarisapp.in address that you choose when you publish.

Private & PIN apps

Who can open my published app?

You choose when you publish. Public: anyone with the link. Private: only you, after signing in with your Solaris account. PIN: anyone who knows the PIN you set. Websites and games start as public; business tools start as private.

How do my staff open a PIN app?

Send them the link and tell them the PIN separately. They enter it once on their phone or computer. Change the PIN anytime from the Publish window if someone leaves.

Can a public website still keep form replies private?

Yes. A public website can have an enquiry, booking or RSVP form that anyone can fill, while the replies are visible only to you. Ask for it in plain words, for example “only I should see the RSVP list”.

Can I change who can open an app later?

Yes. Open Publish, pick Public, Private or PIN, and save. The change applies immediately — no need to publish again.

Your data & exports

Where is my app's data stored?

Published apps keep their data on Solaris servers in India (Mumbai), separately for each app, with encrypted backups. The free plan currently allows up to 5,000 records and 50 MB of data per app.

Can I download my app?

Yes. Use Export ZIP in the builder to download your app's complete code anytime and run or host it anywhere. There's no lock-in.

Can I get my records out, for example into Excel?

Yes. Ask for CSV export (and CSV import, if you want to bring in an existing list). Lists in business apps can then be downloaded as files that open in Excel or Google Sheets.

Who can see what I type to build my app?

What you type is sent to the AI provider that powers Solaris AI to build your app, and is not used for advertising. Don't paste passwords or other people's sensitive details into the chat. Read the Privacy Policy for the full details.

How do I delete my account?

Write to info@teknosage.in from your account's email address. We delete your data within 30 days, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Payments & refunds

How much does Solaris Builder cost?

You can build and publish on the free plan, with free AI credits every month and no card needed. A Pro plan (₹499 for 30 days) with more credits, more live apps and no badge is coming soon.

How will I pay?

Through Razorpay, with UPI, cards or netbanking. Plans and credit packs are one-time purchases — nothing renews or charges you automatically.

Can I get a refund?

If a payment went through but your credits or plan weren't added, or you were charged twice, we refund it in full. You can also ask for a refund within 7 days of buying if you haven't used any of what you bought. The Refund Policy has the details.
